Jane Chic, P.T.Jane Chic, P.T.

A physical therapist for almost 20 years, Jane specializes in orthopedic and manual therapy. She is certified in Pilates training and incorporates the method for her clients' rehabilitation and preventative care. Her experience spans from senior therapist at UCLA's physical therapy department to clinical specialist in the Napa Kaiser adult primary care clinic where she worked closely with physicians treating acute and chronic orthopedic patients.

She also spent four years in the occupational medicine department at Kaiser where she was responsible for treating patients with worker's compensation injuries. Jane has taken numerous continuing education courses through the years, including a year-long residency program in orthopedic physical therapy. She continues to pursue education in all aspects of manual, orthopedic and craniosacral therapy and most recently has received certification as a "certified weight management instructor." In 1999, after years in the traditional therapy world, she decided to branch out on her own and founded Summit PT.

Her studio provides Jane and her team with the opportunity to see clients for an hour and take the time to address all their needs. She is experienced in treating clients with various orthopedic injuries including back and neck pain, tendonitis injuries in the upper and lower extremity and osteoarthritic joint conditions, as well as more all inclusive diagnoses such as repetitive strain injury, chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Her latest offerings include Bowen Training, which she incorporates with other strengthening regimes, and golf fitness – a new favorite amongst her avid golf clientele. At Summit PT, Jane strives to pull all her skills together to meet the needs of her clients and help them attain their goals.
